Gross Fiescherhorn is part of challenges: 48 Swiss 4000ers, Alpine Four-thousanders

The larger of the two Fiescherhorns. Most easily accessible from the Finsteraarhorn hut, but it is a very long glacial tour. The same applies from the Mönsjoch hut, where a challenging ascent to the saddle must also be added at the end (ice 40°, broken rock). The summit ridge itself has a difficulty of III.
