The name is unofficial; the term Jakubova chýše refers to the northern slopes below the rock. Nearby is a place called Polská chata, where no building stands. The summit is located about 2300 m northwest of the peak Nad Rakouskou loukou, on its sloping ridge defined by the cuts of Stocký potok and Světlá. It is a prominent group of rocks with a distinct network of horizontal and vertical cracks. The highest rock has a bizarre overhanging summit resembling an animal's head. The saddle is at the foot of the highest rock, which is about 12 m higher. With a bit of skill, one can climb the rock. The area is filled with rubble and boulders. (tisicovky.cz)
