In German, Bayerischer Plöckenstein. The peak is near the mountain pass Trojmezí (the meeting point of the state borders of three countries). The main European watershed of the Elbe - Danube runs over Trojmezná, as well as a hiking ridge trail from Třístoličník to Plechý, where two other thirteen-hundred-meter peaks of Šumava (Vysoký hřeben and Nad Rakouskou loukou) are located. At the summit of Trojmezná lies a massive granite rock, from which, also "thanks" to the spruce bark beetle, we have views. Below the summit, a vast sea of rocks stretches across Bavaria, through which a hiking trail leads. The mountain is also known for the largest area of dwarf pine in Šumava.
