A smaller peak below the Matterhorn on the ascent route via the Lion Ridge, on the border between the Aosta Valley and Switzerland. Due to its minor significance, it has been included in the extended list of Alpine four-thousanders. It was named in honor of John Tyndall, who made the first ascent.
