The Guide del Cervino hut is located in Valle d'Aosta in the Valtournenche valley at an altitude of 3,480 meters above sea level.
It is built on the summit of Testa Grigia, directly on the Plateau Rosa glacier, an excellent starting point for many climbing trips: ascents of Breithorn, Pollux, Castor, and the traverse of Monte Rosa. You can reach the hut from Breuil-Cervinia by cable cars or on foot in about 3 hours with an elevation gain of 1,480 meters.
A few meters from the refuge are the ski resorts in the Zermatt area: a great opportunity to ski in winter and summer (summer skiing) using the hut as a base.
Located on the Italian-Swiss border, the hut is an important reference point for skiers, climbers, and hikers who want to explore the beautiful mountains of the Aosta Valley and Switzerland.
Built in 1984, the hut offers hospitality at high altitudes. It is equipped with 40 beds divided into rooms for 5 and 7 people and offers full overnight stays with a buffet breakfast and the option of half board. Half board at the mountain hut, priced at €70.00 per person, includes dinner, bed, and buffet breakfast.
