Western Carpathians
Western Carpathians are the western part of the Carpathians, including all Czech Carpathian ranges (including the Beskids with Lysá hora, 1324 m), most of the Slovak and Polish ranges (including the Tatras with the highest Gerlach, 2655 m and the Polish Rysy, 2501 m) and all Hungarian ranges (including the Mátra with Kékes, 1014 m). To the northwest, it borders the Czech Massif, to the south with the Pannonian Basin, and to the east with the Eastern Carpathians.
