The highest mountain in Hungary and the only Hungarian peak over 1000 meters. At the summit, there is a public television tower from 1960, with a fee of 1000 HUF, details at www.fmdx.hu.

Stroller access

Accessible by stroller only along the public road from the village of Mátraháza. All hiking trails are very challenging in places for pedestrians.
