Where he went, could have gone, or (was) not at all…
…the famous "ice man" Ötzi.
OR
The Ötztal Alps, covering an area of around 2500 square kilometers, are one of the largest groups of the Alps, with over 700 peaks towering above long and deep valleys, more than 200 of which exceed 3000 meters in height.
There are also beautiful mountain lakes, thundering waterfalls, and still wild yet stunning glaciers that together form a glacial area exceeding 100 square kilometers.
These are not the highest, most beautiful, or most popular mountains, but a selection of rugged 3k peaks high above the Ötztal that are the most striking and characteristic.
It is a cross-section of this extremely diverse and varied mountain world, whose photographs can be found at the chapel in Vent.
