Ludwigshöhe is essentially one of the insignificant peaks in the Monte Rosa massif. From the Gnifetti hut, there is no rock climbing or difficult sections during the ascent; the difficulty is F. It is basically just walking uphill on the glacier along a mostly well-trodden path. However, in case of sudden weather changes (fog, wind, snowfall), one should not underestimate the ascent - navigation on the snowfields would then be very difficult.
