Built in a panoramic location, set into the southern wall of Punta Parrot, dominating the upper Sesia valley.
Access from Acqua Bianca, Alagna, about 3 km for vehicles. 5:30 h.
Note: unmanned hut, challenging hiking trail.
Possible itineraries, trips, crossings, or ascents
Crossings:
Climbing crossings with high commitment and difficulty reserved for experienced climbers can be made via Colle Vincent, Colle Zurbriggen, Colle delle Piode, Colle Sesia towards the Lys and Grenz glaciers.
Equally challenging is the one towards the Resegotti hut due to the Sesia and Locce glaciers.

Punta Parrot for climbing routes on the southern wall.
Punta Giordani, Vincent, Corno Nero, and Ludwigshohe.
Warning: routes are considered challenging.
