Les Droites is a stunning peak located in the eastern part of the Mont Blanc massif, measuring exactly 4000 meters with not a single meter more. It lies on the ridge together with the Aiguille Verte massif. The following peaks exceed 4000 m:
- Aiguille Verte (4,122 m)
- Grande Rocheuse (4,102 m)
- Aiguille du Jardin (4,035 m)
- Les Droites (4,000 m)

- This significant mountain, situated in the basin of the Argentiere glacier, is particularly charming due to its 1000-meter-high north face.
- Some ascents (especially on ice or mixed terrain) are among the most beautiful in the Alps.
- The less impressive south face, which is "only" 400 to 600 m high, is essentially rock.
- Normal routes or descent paths lead to it.

The summit can be reached from Refuge d'Argentière (2771 m) and Refuge du Couvercle (2687 m).

The mountain has two summits:
the western, lower one (3984 m), first ascended on July 16, 1876, by W. A. B. Coolidge, Christian Almer, and Ulrich Almer
the eastern, higher one (4000 m), first ascended on August 7, 1876, by Thomas Middlemore, John Oakley Maund, Henri Cordier, Johann Jaun, and Andreas Maurer.
