Located near Col de la Fourche, on the southern ridge of Mont Maudit, which separates the Brenva basin from Cirque Maudit at nearly the same altitude as Col de la Fourche (3682 m), Brenva side. The current bivouac, built in 1985, replaces the original from 1935 and is dedicated to Corrado Alberico and Luigi Borgna, both from Turin, who were caught in an avalanche below Col de la Brenva while attempting to open a direct route on August 17, 1932.

You can reach the bivouac in 2-3 hours starting from Punta Helbronner. Difficulty AD.

According to the latest information, the bivouac has collapsed and is no longer operational :(
