About chalet Bivacco della Brenva

It was built in 1929 and is the first model of a bivouac constructed by Adolf Hess. It is 1.25 m high, 2.25 m wide, and 2 m deep. Renovated in November 2016, it does not offer any special comfort. There is a small camping stove, 2/3 pans, 3 blankets, and several mattresses available. The bivouac was restored with an outer sheet, now in bright green color. It is a clean bivouac that can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
The ascent is occasionally marked with a yellow stamp, which is sometimes faded.
Difficulty PD +, as the real challenges lie in the length of the ascent, lack of markings (a few yellow marks), completely isolated and high-altitude environment, some passages over rock that are not difficult but have exposure and are in very unstable terrain.
