Janáčkovy sady, together with the fairy-tale forest, are a popular spot for families. Although, in my opinion, the characters in the fairy-tale forest are rather spooky (Goldilocks is really scary), I appreciate the views of the spa town of Teplice. During the ascent to the summit near the water reservoir, you will see the entire northwestern part of the town with the prominent building of the business school among the trees. If you are here for rehabilitation of the musculoskeletal system, for which the local springs are intended, a walk through Janáčkovy sady is a must - and extend it straight to Písečák, check the observatory for a tour and demonstration of the solar corona, or visit the botanical garden adjacent to Janáčkovy sady, and once you're feeling good, head up to Doubravka for a beer at the window.
