A massive rock on the northern ridge of Velký Máj / Zámčisko. An unofficial peak over 1000 meters. The rock is quite weathered and practically unclimbable for ordinary mortals who are not climbers. Height on the ČÚZK map is 1040.2 m and the saddle according to the elevation analysis is 1026 m, so it's more of a secondary peak; it would be good to measure it in the field.

With basic climbing experience, the rock can be climbed with caution, though the approach beneath it is worse - dense forest with fallen cut trees, not pleasant... /Bouřka 2024/

Access from the upper bend along a cleared strip of forest, see map, down the ridge. We will go around the rock from the left (west) and climb up easy terrain between two crags. The one on the right is the summit, where we can reach via easy climbing. For gourmets, I recommend climbing the rock from the south, which is a beautiful II with a bit of exposure.
