Umbalköpfl (3426 m a.s.l.) is a mountain in the Hohe Tauern range in Austria. It is located in the Venediger group on the border between Tyrol and Salzburg. It lies on the Tauernhauptkamm ridge between the peaks of Dreiherrnspitze (3499 m) to the west and Westliche Simonyspitze (3473 m) to the east. Towards Westliche Simonyspitze, there is a subpeak called Simonyschneide (3440 m). The summit of Dreiherrnspitze is separated by the Dreiherrnspitzesattel saddle (3390 m), and the summit of Simonyschneide is separated by the Umbalscharte saddle (3371 m). On the northern slopes of the mountain lies the Krimmlerkees glacier, while the southern slopes feature the Umbalkees glacier.

The first ascent was made on August 8, 1892, by O. Schuster and V. Volgger.

The easiest route to the summit leads from the south from the Clarahütte hut (2036 m) across the Umbalkees glacier. This is a glacial hike rated at difficulty level I.
