A prominent massif above the glacial square of Konkordiaplatz, which is flanked by steep walls. It slopes more gently to the east towards the Fieschergletscher glacier, from where the normal route to the summit leads from the Finsteraarhornhütte hut. First, you need to descend 300 m to the base of the eastern wall, followed by a 1100 m ascent to the summit.
The first ascent was made on August 6, 1864.
