Lagginhorn is part of challenges: 48 Swiss 4000ers, Alpine Four-thousanders

The classic route is from the west side, difficulty I/B-09.V-C. You can also take the ridge UIAA-II from the south. One of the few 4,000ers without a glacier in Europe, not counting the one on the west face. Nevertheless, even in summer, crampons are occasionally needed. In the photo, it's the left peak.
