Located on the eastern side of Fletschhorn and Lagginhorn, this small hut is rarely visited and accommodates 10 climbers on a self-catering basis. It has a long history: it was decided in 1876/77, and the first shelter in Laggintal was built only 80 years later. At that time, it was a gift from the Swiss Alpine Club for women climbers. Today, the wooden interior hut can be reached via a mountain trail from Simplon-Dorf. It offers high-altitude climbs and alpine crossings in terrain without trails.
Access from Simplon-Dorf via Weng, Antonius, and Färicha (3h).
