About chalet Almagellerhütte

A popular high-altitude and hiking hut on the southern side of Weissmies. Starting point for high-altitude and climbing tours, a base for sport climbing, and accommodation for multi-day hikes. View over Almagellertal to the Mischabel group and nine four-thousanders. The pavilion next to the hut offers groups a separate home. In addition to the direct ascent from the valley, there are also two panoramic trails via Kreuzboden and Furggstalden.
Capacity: 120 beds, winter room: 9 beds.
Access: Saas-Almagell - Almagelleralp - Almagellerhütte hiking time: 3-4 hours.
