A publicly accessible, managed hut in the Munich section of the Alpine Club, built in 1873/74, with a new building in 1898/99, and last modernized between 2005-08.
Taschachhaus is located on the northern slope of Urkundkopf in the back of Pitztal, a 30-minute walk from Taschachferner, and is surrounded by numerous three-thousanders.
Taschachhaus is a perfect base for high-altitude training and a great opportunity to introduce children to the alpine landscape, thanks to both its alpine environment and its facilities. Several seminar and group rooms, an indoor climbing wall, comfortable rooms, hot showers, and an excellent kitchen - what more could you wish for?

Taschachhaus is the base for the four-day "Pitztal Tour" and "Pitztaler Runde."
Under the name "Pitztal Mountain Summer," there are additional treks near the hut in Pitztal.

A beautiful, equipped, large winter room filled with several types of beer and soft drinks is not locked (28 places).
