Stüdlhütte is a mountain hut in the Austrian Alps, managed by the Munich section of the German Alpine Club. It was built with funds from climbing enthusiast and chairman of the Prague section of the German and Austrian Alpine Club/Deutscher und Österreichischer Alpenverein (DuÖAV) Johann Stüdl (1839 Prague - January 29, 1924 Salzburg). Its last reconstruction took place from 1993 to 1996. Until 1945, Stüdlhütte was a pride of the Prague section. Today, it is a modern mountain hut that accommodates 122 climbers.
