Long approach from the valley. Before the summit, there is the Linderhütte, the oldest hut in the Lienz Dolomites, built in 1883–84 by Ignaz Linder, a pioneer of this region. Today it serves as a simple emergency shelter with a stove – wood and water must be brought by yourself. The final section to the summit is secured with ropes and marked as a via ferrata of the lowest difficulty A/B.
