Vrchmezí (in Polish Orlica) is the fifth highest mountain in the Orlické Mountains at an elevation of 1084 m and the highest peak in the Polish part of the range. It is one of the peaks of the Crown of Polish Mountains. It lies on the Czech-Polish border, 3.5 km WSW of Sedloňov, and is situated on the European watershed between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. On the Polish side of the border, there is a wooden observation tower built in 2020.

Chalet/accommodation

The Schronisko na Orlici, also known as Rübartschova chata, operated from 1882 until it burned down in 1946 and was never rebuilt. The nearest chalet is at Šerlich, 5 km away.
