Medvědí hora is an unremarkable forested peak with a rocky summit, located on the northern ridge of Mravenečník, about 2.5 km southeast of Kouty nad Desnou.
On the northwest slope, there is the Kouty ski area with ski lifts and a six-seat chairlift.
About 100 m northeast rises Rysí skála with a viewpoint. Approximately 400 m southwest, there are three wind turbines. About 1 km east is the Waterfall on Borový stream.
