The highest peak of the Desenská Highlands in the Hrubý Jeseník. Among all the thousand-meter peaks, this one is the most affected by human activity. On the summit plateau, there is an artificial reservoir covering 16 hectares. It serves as the upper part of the Dlouhé stráně pumped-storage hydroelectric power plant. The plant began operation in 1996, and its construction took 20 years. The area around the reservoir is covered with heather, and mountain spruce forests extend up to 1300 m above sea level. The highest point is located at the southern edge of the reservoir. In 2005, the Dlouhé stráně hydroelectric power plant was ranked among the 7 wonders of the Czech Republic (idnes.cz).
Access from Kouty nad Desnou via the red-marked trail (7 km). A tour of the upper reservoir and thus the summit is also part of the excursion at the power plant.
