Medvědí hora J is part of challenges: Menagerie, Šumavské tisícovky, The Highest Peaks of Plzeň Region, Thousanders of the Czech Republic
A flat ridge 6 km southwest of Modrava with two indistinct peaks. The northern peak is called Medvědí hora, located less than 700 m to the north, and is on extensive meadows with a view of Židovská skála. However, it is merely a bump and is not classified among the thousand-meter peaks. There is also a geodetic point with an elevation of 1223.8 m above sea level. The southern peak is forested, about 3 m higher, and also has a rock formation. The terrain is very flat and marshy. Southeast of the southern peak is Roklanská chata. (tisicovky.cz)
Note: Storm: Even with a thorough search of the summit plateau, the alleged rock on the summit was not found (which of course does not rule out possible “blindness”). The terrain is leveled and it is difficult to find the highest point.
