    The Upper Moravian Valley is a lowland in Central Moravia, in the heart of the ethnographic region of Haná, in the fertile valley of the Morava River. Valuable floodplain forests and meadows are protected by the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area. The center of the region is Olomouc, the second most important city is Prostějov. The highest hill is Velká horka (331 m) at the northern tip of the valley, but the most prominent is Dílový vrch (283 m) near Olomouc.
