Join the challenge "King of the Dachstein Mountains" and conquer peaks near the northernmost glacier in the Alps. The area around the highest peak, Hoher Dachstein (2,995 m, prominence 2,136 m), is rich in glaciers, but the Dachstein range is not just defined by this peak – other summits deserve attention too. Don't hesitate and start exploring! Additionally, the Hallstätter See area is interesting as it is home to one of the oldest human settlements.

Peak features in the challenge:
- elevation above 1,800 m
- prominence above 300 m
- accessible via marked and unmarked trails or via ferrata
- ascent is not prohibited
