Žiarec in Slovak, marked as Czyrniec in the field. In the past, the nearly millennium-long Slovak-Polish, or the Hungarian-Halič border, when on June 28, 1920 the territory annexed by the Poles was listed and Czechoslovakia had to cede 27 North Slovak municipalities to Poland. In the tourist trail, you can still find fallen border stones that were re-established here under the Slovak state in the years 1939-1945.
