Moserspitz is located in the ridge extending from Grosser Bösenstein towards the northwest. It is one of the peaks on the beautiful ridge hike from Stein am Mandl to Hochhaide, which is an easy day loop trek from the town of Rottenmann. Moserspitz, along with Diewaldgupf, features a distinctive pointed relief and an ascent along the ridge edge. Even at the beginning of summer, you will find an ice field on the eastern side, where the Bachsprengcharte saddle is located, as well as the path back to the town of Rottenmann, so don't forget your crampons and don't underestimate the terrain. On the ice field, if you slip, you can gain high speed almost immediately, and if you are not familiar with how to behave in such a situation, the end of the slide can be, at best, very painful.
