Diewaldgupf is located on the ridge extending from Grosser Bösenstein mountain towards the northwest. It is one of the peaks on the beautiful ridge hike from Stein am Mandl to Hochhaide, which is an easy day loop trek from the town of Rottenmann. Diewaldgupf is characterized by an ascent directly along the edge of a steep ridge, making it one of the most photographed spots on the ridge hike.
