Chalet/accommodation

Chalet below the summit - closed on March 30, 2024, located at an altitude of 1550 m above sea level, on the Swiss side - Val Cola. Access is difficult, and above the chalet, there was still a continuous snow cover. There was no one within a kilometer radius. Bears have allegedly been sighted here. The path to the chalet was lined with dense bushes where they could have taken shelter. The view was good, but the approaching storms forced me to descend. R.H.
