Accessibility

The northern part of Tenerife, specifically the Anaga mountain range, has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since July 2015. While this is good for nature conservation, entering certain areas requires a permit. This also applies to the northern ridge of Anaga. The daily number of permits is significantly limited, so it's advisable to use the online application at least a month before your planned trip.
