The northeastern slopes of Grüblspitze form the southernmost foothills of the Zillertal 3000 ski area during the winter season. In the summer months, the mountain is accessible via several marked hiking trails, with the shortest ascent starting at the 1960-meter-high Eggalmbahn mountain station, leading to the summit of Grüblspitze in an hour and a half.

A beautiful hike continues over Ramsjoch to the Torseen lakes.
