The highest peak of the geomorphological subunit Boubínská hornatina. At the summit, there is a commemorative granite obelisk (dated August 3, 1867, commemorating the visit of the then Archbishop of Prague) and a 21-meter tall wooden lookout tower that offers top-notch views not only of the entire Šumava panorama. It is the highest lookout tower in the South Bohemian Region and the second highest in the Czech Republic (after Králický Sněžník).
