Třtín is part of challenge: Nejhory Středohoří

A large forested mountain massif in the Milešovské středohoří stretching from west to east with three peaks. The highest peak is Solanská hora at 638 m, the middle peak is Dlouhý vrch at 618 m, and the eastern peak is Třtín at 601 m.

The massif is covered with spruce and oak forests. On the steep slopes, there are small cliffs and boulder fields. In summer, the plateau is adorned with thermophilic flora and grasses. There is no marked path to the summit, yet Solanská hora is a very popular hiking destination, as evidenced by three documented summit books. The effort put into the ascent is rewarded with a magical view from the treeless summit plateau. One can see the nearby peaks of Blešno and Kuzov, the western part of the Český středohoří, the Lower Poohří, and on the horizon, the Doupovské hory and the Krušné hory.

The easiest access is from the road leading from Skalice to Štěpánov. Before the turnoff to Děkovka, a forest road branches off to the right, which then turns into a path that steeply ascends to the summit of Solanská hora. The ridge can be crossed to Dlouhý vrch and Třtín.
