Punta Verudela is a sought-after peninsula surrounded by pine forests in Pula, Croatia, located about 5 km south of the historic city center and the famous Roman amphitheater. This area is one of the main tourist centers in Istria, combining rugged coastline, pebble beaches, and modern resorts.
Here you will find some of the most beautiful beaches in Pula, such as the iconic Hawaiian Beach with its white pebbles and turquoise water, Ambrela Beach, which is ideal for families with children, and Valsaline and Valovine beaches. The coastline is lined with dramatic rock formations, including the popular Verudela Canyon and the Golden Rocks area. The Lungomare promenade offers scenic walks.
At the top, you will find Aquarium Pula, the largest aquarium in Croatia, providing a truly unique experience as it is located within the former Austro-Hungarian fortress Fort Verudela and the adjacent San Giovanni battery. This combination of 19th-century military history and rich marine life attracts families with children and nature lovers year-round.
