A significant peak of the eastern ridge, the highest of the trio in this sub-section of the ridge. Part of the ridge route Via Alta della Verzasca. Like the surrounding peaks, it slopes gently to the south and has steep rock walls to the north. In terms of walking from the south from Pizzo Cramosina, it is relatively easy to access, with just a few difficult spots. From the north, starting from Pizzo di Mezzodi, the access is challenging - a series of climbing spots, scrambling over rock towers, and significant exposure. In good weather, there are phenomenal views from Bernina across the Bernese Alps to Monte Rosa.
