A massive peak above Lake Efra, where the eponymous hut is located. Part of the ridge trail Via Alta della Verzasca. It slopes gently to the south, while to the north and west it features steep cliffs. The ridge descends to the saddle Passo di Gagnone (2214m). The easiest ascent leads from the mentioned hut Efra to the saddle Bocchetta dello Scaiee (2433m), then along an exposed ridge with several difficult sections, and somewhat easier to the summit higher up.
