Another peak on the Golden Trail "Goldsteig" in the Bavarian Forest differs somewhat in character. It is a solitary split stone pillar, or outcrop, that you must ascend through a crack between two rocks. On the higher one, there is an iron cross, which is not accessible to hikers, only to climbers. Thus, it retains its inaccessibility. From the summit of the rock, there are breathtaking views of the entire surrounding area of the Bavarian Forest. Therefore, only the third highest tower is accessible for hiking, the second highest is about a grade two, and the peak with the cross is at least a grade five (equipped with bolts).
