The wooded summit is located just north of the Goldsteig trail from Eck to Grosser Arber. You can easily pass by it unnoticed, as it is not very prominent and is not marked in any way. If you are heading in that direction from Eck and reach the junction with a resting place, you have already gone too far. One could say that the summit is not significant, but I would disagree. The entire surrounding forest is literally interwoven with a network of blueberries, which many a thirsty hiker will enjoy.
