Simmering is part of challenge: King of the Wetterstein and Mieminger Kette

A very nice peak that offers views of the entire surroundings, from which you can also see the possible ascent to other peaks, and it's a great climb for acclimatization. The summit cross also hides a stamp, and from here you can continue along the ridge to Tschirgant. Access is almost to the summit via a bike path, which officially ends at the hut below the peak, but it is possible to take a purely hiking path, which is definitely nicer. The ideal starting point is the free parking lot at the area below Grünberg.
