Džbán is part of challenge: Highest Peaks of Prague

On the summit was the Šárecké Hillfort - a prehistoric settlement and early medieval fortification. The prehistoric settlement dates from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. The fortification is documented as early as the early Middle Ages, having been established around the 8th century and remaining inhabited until the 10th century. According to archaeologist and historian Jiří Sláma, it is one of the possible locations of the fortification Canburg, which was unsuccessfully besieged by Charles the Younger, son of the Frankish king and Roman emperor Charlemagne, in 805.
