Since 1992, the Torre de Collserola television tower has stood at the summit, built for the occasion of the Olympic Games according to the design of British architect Sir Norman Foster. At a height of 288.4 m, it is the tallest structure in Catalonia. The tower features an observation deck (opening hours should be checked on the website, as they vary by season). The easiest access (also suitable for strollers) is from the northeast via the road connecting Tibidabo and Vallvidrera. A more scenic route with steps leads from the west from the upper cable car station in Vallvidrera over the neighboring peak Turó de Mont, which offers nice views. It's best to visit before sunset. :)
