Vysoký Ostrý is indeed high and really sharp. If you set out to its summit via the red hiking trail, after an easy ascent through the forest, a beautiful view awaits you from a well-maintained iron platform, where you will find a map with descriptions of neighboring peaks. You will catch a glimpse of Lovoš and other hills of the Czech Central Mountains, the Elbe basin, and the massif of the Ore Mountains. I personally recommend the western path for the ascent, which is steeper, rockier, and generally more beautiful, although harder to climb. When descending, take your time and walk from the south under the summit along the green trail, where you will find interesting rock walls.
