Malý Ostrý JZ is part of challenge: Cross on the Summit of Domestic Mountains and Hills

A beautifully shaped, difficult-to-access cone with a stunning viewpoint, similar to that of Vysoký Ostrý. At the summit, there is a statue of the Virgin Mary.
Unfortunately, for over 70 years, there have been errors in tourist maps derived from the original topographic maps from the 1940s and 1950s, including the so-called Malý Ostrý. The peak currently referred to as Malý Ostrý on modern maps is actually PRŮČELSKÝ VRCH (571 m). Malý Ostrý is its southwestern summit.
