A prominent mountain above the settlement of Jizerka, one of the largest and highest basalt hills in Europe. The second highest Czech volcano and the highest accessible one. Scree fields can be found on the southeast and northeast slopes. Due to the basalt substrate, a rich flora has developed here (buttercup, poisonous spurge, arnica...) and several endemics grow here (green gentian, perennial knapweed, various-colored monkshood...).
