A prominent mountain in the Jizera Mountains, about 2 km north of the settlement of Jizerka, the highest peak of the Central Jizera Ridge. The summit plateau features granite rock formations known as Věžní skály, offering beautiful views of Jizerka, Pytlácké kameny, and the Jizera River. Near the summit, at the rocks called Vlčí doupě, there is a balancing rock known as Viklan.
The older name Jelení stráň is used in newer maps for the southwest slope (Mapy.cz) or for the area of the western peak at 995 m (ČÚZK).
