Čertův mlýn is the fourth highest mountain in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, located 2.5 km east of Pusteven. The summit of the mountain is the highest point in the Vsetín district and the entire Zlín Region. It is covered by a spruce forest, with no viewpoints. The entire summit area is part of the NPR Kněhyně - Čertův Mlýn, the largest reserve in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, declared in 1982 over an area of 195 ha to protect the natural summit spruce forests.
The name originated from a legend that a devil built a mill in the gully near the summit. In reality, it is an example of block detachment of the so-called Godula sandstone.
